"As the disciples were in doubt, the Saviour came on the eighth day to where they were gathered and granted them peace, and cried to Thomas: Come, O Apostle, and feel the palms in which they fastened the nails. O good unbelief of Thomas, which hath lead the hearts of the faithful to knowledge! Hence, he cried out with fear: O my Lord and my God, glory be to Thee."

Loved the Cactus Flower, the Bright Week questions and answers and the Sunday of St. Thomas questions and answers.

What a miracle, that cactus flower blooming on Bright Week!!!  That was a beautiful story, how it came all the way from Summer Camp and survived cold nights outside in a coffee can, sometimes full of too much water.  That was amazing.  And a really beautiful sign from our Lord and our God!!!

I love the Sunday of Saint Thomas.  It also happens to be my wedding anniversay.  George and I were married on the Sunday of Saint Thomas, April of 1987.  Every year when I hear the words of Saint Thomas read in Church, "My Lord and my God"  it fills me with such joy every time I hear it.  I could just imagine the astonishment of Thomas as he realized that this friend and teacher of his for the last three years who was just recently arrested and sentenced unto a horrible death, is revealed to him as our LORD AND GOD!!!
