- Luke 1:28 and "safe spaces"
There is the experience of God where there is no fear, and there is the world, which is full of fear. In the aftermath of the presidential election, we can see this contrast clearly. I found out yesterday that high schools were setting up "safe places" where people could cry about the results of the presidential election and give in to their fears. This is a secular response to life. The Christian response is to pray, and read the Gospels, and experience God, where there is no fear. If you are a Christian, do not be faithless and give into secular fears, as taught by the media and people all around us. In the midst of all these things that make people afraid, God is here, if we have eyes to see and ears to hear.

O Lord grant mercy unto them that bear hatred or enmity against me, and also unto them that revile or slander me: That none of them may at all suffer any evil, whether in the present or in the age to come, on account of me, who am impure. But cleanse them all in Thy mercy, and protect them by Thy grace, O Thou who art good.

Some of these videos are directly about the priesthood and Christian ministry from a "sinner, who tries to help other sinners to not sin" (this is my favorite definition of a priest). Because I am a sinner, I allow "stupid human tricks" to get in the way of my ministry often: depression, cynicism, laziness, negative thinking, bad decisions, fallibilty, etc. ETC.! Herein you will find my advice and confession to you.
