Hieromartyr Leontius Of Tsarevo

Bishop Leontius (von Vimpfen) was consecrated Bishop of Petrovsk on December 16/29, 1916, where he remained until May 6/19, 1917. On September 5/18, 1917 he became Bishop of Enotayev. In 1918 he was temporarily administering the Astrakhan diocese. In the same year he became Bishop of Tsarevo. On June 23 / July 6, 1919 he was killed, thrown into a hole and refused a burial.
