Prison Visit Report
The Creed, incarnation & free will.
Can a person become homosexual?
An audio report “from the field” (driving home) on a visit to two prisons. In the first, we talked about the Creed, through the incarnation. We answered the important question: “Why did God not just ‘fix’ us, and instead became incarnate and went to all that trouble?” The answer involves the fact that we are made in the image of God, in order to be perfectly free.
Another question came up about Homosexuality: “can a person “become” homosexual, or are they born this way. Our answer was more about the way of life and WHY there are commandments, and not about this popular question or even DOGMA of our modern age.
Also, video on just the subject: Why did Jesus become incarnate? Why did God not just "fix" us without all the trouble of the incarnation? Why follow commandments?
