This is a great homily by Fr. David Moser. thank you, Father Seraphim, for publishing this homily. This year the Forerunner St. John the Baptist has taken on a more special place in my heart because of the church hymns that refer to him, telling us that he is praying for each and every one of us, caring for us (like the Theotokos does). Please correct me if I am wrong, Father Seraphim.
But after reading the Orthros service on January 7th (sorry, we Greeks celebrated already), I just love Saint John the Baptist more and more.

But, relevant to Fr. Moser's homily on St. Joseph, I see and understand that St. Joseph also cares for us very much. this is so touching and very important, and gives me more hope for salvation. The saints are here for us to befriend and help save us! Hallelujah!!! A new saint to love: St. Joseph!!!
