Father Seraphim, I like what you said about "the only thing left is what we become" Every little thing we do is important, and even if we "ahem" do not do the right thing like not celebrate the liturgy, every action we take can be used as a learning experience. That's what I do: What can I Iearn from what I have just done? And how can I become a stronger person and relate to those around me better? By missing the feast day, you can relate to others who have done the same and "feel" their mindset. Didn't Jesus also come down from His Heavenly Throne in order to be with us and feel our pain? So what you did, Father Seraphim, is very humbling. GOD BLESS YOU AND GRANT YOU MANY YEARS AND GIVE YOU HIS STRENGTH AND WISDOM!!!

"My transcribing angel got this homily transcribed yesterday, but I was too tired to put it up last night, having worked 14 hours. This was the first major feast I have missed in a long time because of work. It felt pretty wierd".
Check your blood pressure. I have been working for 20 hours a day for the last 30 years and have not died. Umph, yet.
