Thank you, Father, for posting this! Never read it before.

Today I was at the Liturgy, and thought that this Feast has (as all of them actually) a close personal relation to all of us. We, Orthodox Christians, are tremendously blessed - we entered the Church. In our life there was a significant, a crucial moment - when we stepped into the church doors. Do we realize what this moment means to us?! This is a break point, dividing our life into two parts. Should divide. As after it we are personally responsible for our life, for what we do & think, for the people God handed us. I often thought - what would have been with my life if this would have not happened with me? The thought is so horrible that I prefer to give it up as quickly as possible. But from time to time it arises again & again in my head. How should I be grateful to God! How should I live?! Do I?

This possibility is a great God's gift to me, to all of us. And we celebrate during this wonderful Feast our own first entry to the temple of God Alive. Remarkable day. And we think of the Theotokos Entry - which is the example of us of how we should cherish being within the Church, how it all is - worshiping God, serving Him, praying. As the whole Earthy life of the Most Holy Theotokos is for us a great example of a Christian life. We are far from it, too far. I pray to the Mother of God to heal my spiritual blindness, laziness, inability to be grateful for this Gift.

We enter the temple, righteous people & angels accompany us, though we do not see them. Blessed are those who helped us to come to the Church, who guided us on this way! Their labour will not be left without an award in Heaven!

Most Holy Virgin Theotokos, pray for us & never let us choose another road. Help us to stay in Church till the end of our days here, and forever when we leave our Earthy temple for good...
