"...laborers unto the harvest, that the Church may not lack good pastors". It is so vital, nowadays, when our Church is under the pressure of atheism, other religions, secular movements, our own discrepancy to what Christ calls us to be...We need not only good priests, we need PASTORS.
And what is also very important I think is - we should pray for our priests -our fathers, our pastors, so that our merciful Lord strengthen them, give them health, spiritual courage, WISDOM & LOVE. My Father told me once that I should, before each confession, pray for the Father, so that God enlighten him (and any priest) to make him able to say or advise a confessing person what us useful for his soul. As spiritual upbringing - is a mutual, reciprocal process. And we also should pray much for being able not only to listen to our fathers, but also to hear what they say, to hear even their silence. As where there is understanding & correct relationship, words play not the most important part.

Father, thank you so much for this wonderful prayer.
