Anybody care to reckon why?" – because Christ is risen, and went to His Father to Heaven, and we commemorate more His Resurrection, focusing all our attention & spirits on this Event, and also the fact that He has not yet appeared in front of His disciples & has not yet send the Holy Spirit to His disciples. The Consoler has not come yet. From the moment when we celebrate the convergence of the Holy Spirit on the Apostles, we resume singing / praying “ O Heavenly King”.
